15th Combat Engineer Association
(15CEBA)

July 4, 1999
At the Mobile Riverine Force Association reunion held July 2-4, 1999 in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky 20 former members of the 15th Combat Engineer Battalion got together to form the
15th COMBAT ENGINEER BATTALION ASSOCIATION (15CEBA)
Membership is open to all who served in the 15th Combat Engineers Battalion including those before
and after the Battalion served in Vietnam.
This is primarily a social group. Our goals are:
1) Find all of the men who served in the 15th CEB in Vietnam, and other periods throughout the history of the Unit.
2) Plan periodic reunions where everyone can come together and share their photos, war stories and toast those
who didn't return, and those who have left us since returning.
3) To share our collective experience in dealing with the Veterans
Administration regarding health care and other benefits.
4) Our association is NON POLITICAL in nature. Political concerns should be addressed to other groups that are
prepared to handle them.
There will be costs associated with the forming of the Association, such as our web page (www.15thcombatengineers.org),
incorporation as a non-profit organization; preparations for reunions (hospitality rooms and refreshments); postage
for mailings; and costs associated with finding all of the 4500 - 5000 individuals who served during Vietnam.
We are offering Lifetime memberships for the sum of $250.00 with no further dues to be paid for the life of the
veteran or his/her spouse. . Charter Memberships are available until October 31, 1999, to anyone who served in
the 15th CEB for $50.00, for the first year, with a guarantee of no more than $25.00 for any renewal for life.
Annual Memberships are offered for $30.00 for the first year. We anticipate that as more members are signed up
the subsequent years dues for annual memberships will be adjusted accordingly, in order to balance the budget.
A certificate of membership, suitable for framing, will be issued upon joining with your name on it and will be mailed to you.
Prospective members may request a copy of the current budget.
This mission statement and application are to reviewed from time to time, and will be adjusted as circumstances dictate.
All email addresses will remain confidential and used solely for the purposes of the board of
directors contacting the membership from time to time. Under NO circumstance will the board of directors distribute
lists without your individual written permission. Please review the roster information as posted on the web site,
from time to time. This is the only information that is open to the public without your written authorization.
Your written modification and or request to be removed should be sent to the Association mailing address via registered

At official meetings, as declared on a basis of a minimum of every 2 years, the Association will vote and approve
all financial statements. At that time the current financial records of the Association will be available for all
members. The next scheduled official reunion and meeting is in 2001 at Fort Mitchell Kentucky. It will be in conjunction
with the MRFA meeting.
All members agree to honor all rules and regulations of the Association. If you feel that you are unable to agree to the rules of the Association (as amended from time to time) , or the leadership feels that your continued membership is a detriment to the Association, your unused dues will be refunded to you promptly.
If you wish to waive the refund of dues, they will be donated to the American Cancer Society in your name.
